Everything your app needs · device to cloud

One system.
From device to cloud.

Local data, synchronization, permissions, backend functions, and hosted storage—working together from the first tap to the final result.

Build your application. Not the plumbing beneath it.

01 / THE VISION

Your application is one product. Why is its backend seven?

Today, every capability brings another system to configure, connect, and operate. ShadowBase makes the whole application stack feel like a single product.

Seven products. One application.

A local database, sync layer, cloud database, identity provider, API, queue, and function runtime—connected by glue code you now own.

The seams become the architecture.

Was the user authorized when the offline write happened? Did the function run twice? Does the backend agree with the device? Every boundary loses context.

One product. Every surface.

From the device to your backend, ShadowBase keeps data, permissions, functions, and durability working together.

Built around the people using it

Your users should own their data.
Your app should own its decisions.

02 / THE SYSTEM

Follow one change.
It never leaves the system.

From the first local write through the resulting backend work, ShadowBase keeps your data, permissions, and functions working together.

  1. 01

    It begins on the device

A user completes an inspection without a connection. The write is immediate because local storage is part of the real system—not a disposable cache.

  2. 02

    Independent work converges

Another device adds a note. When they reconnect, changes to different parts of the record merge automatically without a timestamp choosing a loser.

DEVICE A · status: complete DEVICE B · note: valve replaced MERGED · BOTH CHANGES PRESERVED
  3. 03

    Access is built in

Users own the data they create by default. Your app can grant, scope, and delegate access without bolting on another permission system.

  4. 04

    Durable logic reacts

The completed inspection triggers a function. Its result is saved with the rest of your application data—without wiring together a queue, worker, and another database write.

WHEN inspection.status = complete RUN createReport()
  5. 05

    Everyone sees the result

Devices and backend services work with the same application state. Hosted durability, backups, and recovery are already part of the product.

01One application everywhere

The device and backend do not need competing definitions of your data.

02Data and logic stay together

Synchronization, permissions, and functions work as parts of one product.

03One system to operate

Build the product instead of maintaining the glue between its primitives.

03 / PRIVATE ALPHA

Believe this stack should be one system?

ShadowBase is being built toward the complete vision you just saw. We’re inviting a small group of teams who want to help shape how it becomes real.

  • Begin with iOS, Android, and Web
  • Build directly with the founding team
  • Influence the product before the boundaries harden

Which platform comes first?

No launch spam. We’ll only write when there’s something worth testing.
